vacuum drying oven

vacuum drying oven and and drying equipment

I. Different drying principles. Forced-air ovens circulate hot air with a blower. Heat-sensitive goods may shrink or harden, so avoid them there. Vacuum ovens pull the chamber to negative pressure; under vacuum, water, solvents and volatiles boil at lower temperature and are pumped away - suited to materials that oxidise, polymerise or react at high temperature.

II. Different scopes. Forced-air ovens serve biochemistry, chemicals/pharma, healthcare, agriculture and environment for powder drying, baking and sterilising glassware, especially heat-sensitive, decomposable or oxidisable goods. Vacuum ovens serve the same fields for similar duties and are especially suited to fast, efficient drying of heat-sensitive, decomposable or oxidisable complex items.
